Meet on the North side (left) side of the Mausoleum. We will be photographing 2017-2019 interments only. Bring cameras, broom/nylon brush (for gently cleaning grass trimmings and such away from stones before photographing), and a sack lunch - we'll have a picnic in a shady spot in the cemetery. Bring your camera, water, a recent list of the requested photographs for Leavenworth National, a map of the cemetery (https://www.cem.va.gov/CEM/cems/maps/leavenworth897.pdf) and maybe some lunch. We can meet at the small building at the intersection of Cemetery Road and Cooke Drive, to introduce ourselves and divide the list. It would probably help if someone can look up the locations of the burials of the photo requests (when missing from the memorials) and get that information uploaded in time for the event.

If you'd like to attend please select the section(s) that you would like to capture and post in the event page. A map of the grounds can be found on the cemetery's website and on its Find A Grave profile. Blue Hill Cemetery is a large cemetery, so please bring water and/or anything you might need while walking the grounds. The cemetery is located near a Dunkin Donuts and several other shops and restaurants if you need anything. The staff of the cemetery is friendly and will be happy to help if you do need it. I believe the office will be open on Saturday for a few short hours.

Meet just inside main entrance by the tall obelisk memorial. This cemetery can be muddy in some places, so wear appropriate shoes.
