Based on what Blue found... This may be her grandmother?
Helen S. Burns-Logan, 76, died Dec. 5, 2005...
A private family service will be in Florence, Ala., where her ashes will be laid to rest in the family plot.
Mrs. Burns-Logan was born July 4, 1929, in Florence, Ala.
She is survived by her husband, George Logan
... brothers, Ralph Stanfield of Texas and Roy Stanfield of Alabama I found this... Murphy's Chapel (cemetery) in Florence scroll down to the bottom Update 13 Mar 2006Logan, Helen (Stanfield); b. 04 Jul 1929, d. 05 Dec 2005, wife of GeorgeCould lead to something else to help find Roberta Logan. Murphy's Chapel on the main site but she is not yet listed.

Helen would have been age 32 when her granddaughter Roberta would have been born in 1961. I don't think this is the right person. Quite possibly not. On the other hand, there are women who had a baby at the age of 15 and that child also had a baby at age 15. You never know.

I looked again in Alaska, no go. Can't find anything on the net either. That's strange..you would think she is listed somewhere. 2006 wasn't that long ago..

I keep running into an obit for a Fred Fischer 1927-2007 that mentions a sister Roberta Logan of North Pole Alaska, and that he was preceded in death by a grandchild, not named. Could Roberta C. been the grandchild of this man and the daughter of the named Roberta Logan in North Pole?? (I'm beginning to wonder if we're looking for Mrs Claus!) http://www.saljournal.com/Print/Fischer1106071Also an obit for James Rheinhart Jones, Jr. (9/27/1938-1/20/2006) that references a sister Roberta Logan of Texas. http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20060202/news_1m2obitfj.htmlAJ - do you know anything else about her family names?
