I'm seeing links for siblings on some memorials that have not been added via html. Is this a new feature?

Check Out This One

Did I miss an announcement or info?

Have sibling connections been added to family relations? How are they controlled?

Although I like the new "siblings" field on memorials, why must they also list the person on the memorial? For example, on Jane Doe's memorial, Jane Doe is also listed as being one of her siblings. A person can't be their own sibling....

I'm guessing they typed the word "Siblings" into the bio field then listed them as HTML links since they were all done by the same member.

I suspect this may have been done using him linking. Recreating the traditional looking links was a topic a few weeks ago in one of the Facebook groups. Se how the one sibling isn't a link?

I would say it is something new from find a grave. I looked at mine and they have the siblings on them also. I didn't put them there. And I also created some of the memorials that they originated from. Weird!

I just checked a memorial I edited this morning, and see that a bunch of siblings have been added. When I click to edit family links, though, there is no place to edit siblings. I also manage the siblings, and know I didn't link them. I did link them each to their parents, though.

I'm guessing that siblings is now an automatic link when two memorials list the same parents? And half-siblings if only one parent matches. (What happens when only one parent is known? Do all the sibs show up as half-sibs?)

I stand corrected. I'm seeing it on memorials for my own family that weren't there yesterday.

Apparently it is the real deal. I am finding it on my own memorials and I haven't done any home lining like that.
