Can anyone tell me about the St. Joseph's Home in Fllushing, NY? In 1930 I find Helen Egnotowich living there and am trying to figure out how to gather her record information.

If it is currently a closed facility, can anyone tell me the Archdiocese or parish that it might have been in??

I found some information about the St Joseph's Home for Girls through Google books. According to the book Flushing (Then and Now) by Jason Antos, it was located at 41-61 Kissena Boulevard in Flushing. It was destroyed in a fire in the 1960s. The information indicates that it was run by the order, the Sisters of St. Joseph.
