I was out in Calvary Evanston, and got the following info, just wondering if anyone could search for obits, I'm not finding anything on Ancestery 1)Matthew T Beckett buried 22nd June 1959, last known address N. Orleans St, Chicago....(I have a Memorial done for him) I did try to order a Cert from "Molly" but she couldn't find it. Matthew T Beckett - Mount Carmel
For a Friend2)Patrick Morley buried February 25th 1944,St Marys, Evergreen Park, IL

I have not found anything for Matthew Beckett. (yet)

Thanks for looking this up, Laurie and Christina Matthew is very elusive, he was my Dads cousin, funny how I can't even get a Death Cert, already have his Army Records and have found him in 1910,1920 and 1930 Census. Also visited his Grave, but there seems to be no Obit or Death Cert

There is always the possibility that he did not die in Illinois. Yep, the guy in the Calvary office suggested that...

Have you tried contacting the archives at the Archdiocese of Chicago? Sometimes they will do a genealogical search and provide what they know. Sometimes it is nothing more than you already know but they may have place of death or his address at time of death.

I was told Matthew's last known address was N Orleans St, but they won't give me a house no. The man said that this was all the information they had + a burial date....
Strange that I can't get a Death Cert
His WW2 Reg Card says he was living in Kenmore Ave in 1942, his mother died there in 1937
