Hi Hallie. On a death certificate, the place of burial is Steven's Ranch. I wondered if that is a cemetery on the ranch or if the person was just buried there. It was 1928.

Found a Stephens Cemetery listed in Gonzales County; however, it says Guadalupe next to it. Here is the link: Gonzales County Texas Cemeteries

I would have to agree with you. Looks like Steven Ranch, Gonzales County, Texas. Couldn't find anything about parents on Ancestry, either.

Let me try to get in touch with Tim. He might have an idea.

I have one in my county called "Smith Ranch" as burial site. No one, not even the historical society folks know where this is. We think it may be just a single burial on some property that may (or may not) have been called Smith Ranch many years ago.

It may take a while to get in touch with Tim as I know he travels a lot (or used to) for his job.

Well I tried to locate Stephens Cemetery drove on Hwy 90 up and down. I never found it. According to information I found it is located on Hwy 90A. I got this from a Gonzales County website.
