I have a NC Death Certificate for John Snead Ziglar (1873-1952) which indicated that he was buried in Joyce Cemetery, Price, NC. None of the Find A Grave Joyce Cemeteries are anywhere near Price, as best as I can tell from Goggle Maps. Anyone know if Joyce was a local name for another cemetery?

His widow seems to be Ollie Smith Ziglar whose 1966 death cert lists burial in the "Joyce Family Cemetery," Rt 3 Stoneville. There's an obit still on line for a daughter, Velven Gibson.

Odds are there's more than one Joyce family with a cemetery in the area, but with a burial as relatively recent as 1966, someone in the area likely will know of this cemetery. Ray Funeral Home in Madison handled the funerals of both John & Ollie and seems to still be in business:

There are a couple of unmapped Joyce cemeteries in Rockingham County, NC in Find A Grave. One is Joyce Chapel, which is south of NC 770 with a Stoneville address. There is one with no location info whatsoever. There are no Ziglars in any of them, but a lot of Joyces.

It is possible that the cemetery might actually be in Virginia, but there are no Joyce cemeteries in Henry County, VA, in Find A Grave.
