Hi, I have some information that a relative is buried in the National Bohemian Cemetery, near Tyndall, SD....but what I am finding on Findagrave is 2 seperate cemeteries which appear to be the same with interchangeable names. South Dakota Gravestones calls it the Czech National Cemetery (and the sign backs that up) http://southdakotagravestones.org/cemeteries.phpYet there is a listing for the Bohemian National or National Bohemian Cemetery as well as a Czech National Cemetery in Findagrave....does anyone have any thoughts on this....i think that they are the same and they need to be merged with a "see also" note added.....

There are a few shared memorials between the two cemeteries; this is often an indicator that they are the same cemetery. There appear to be three cemeteries in the Tyndall area: Tyndall Cemetery, Saint Leo Cemetery, and Bohemian National Cemetery. This is another good indication that Bohemian National and Czech National are one and the same. As far as difficult, it's easy peasy lemon squeezy. Something like this... Please merge Czech National Cemetery (Tyndall) as an AKA into Bohemian National Cemetery (remove "(Tyndall)" from the name). If you quote this reply, you can copy the code.

As with many cemeteries, over time they take on different names. The gate sign translates verbatim as to Czech National Cemetery. Locals refer to it as the Bohemian National Cemetery.
