Looking for Brandeis family in Iowa, particularly a Dr. Brandeis who may have died in the early 30's during one of the winter months. Would love to hear from anyone who knows of this family.

Brandeis is a fairly unusual name in the midwest. The exception is the very prominent family that founded the Brandeis Department Store chain. That happened out of Omaha but members of the family did live in Council Bluffs, Iowa, (just across the river from Omaha) at times. I don't know of any medical doctors in the group, though.

The only Iowa Brandeis family members in the 1930 census are in Council Bluffs.
