This is lovely. Are you going to transcribe the names into Find A Grave? I just checked the "A's" and there are LOTS that are not on Find A Grave yet.

I'm not yet able to work on transcribing this for Find A Grave, anyone who wants to work on it please feel free. I do watch for McCleary Cemetery photo requests and use this guide to pinpoint where the right grave is.

Cool. I'm still plugging away on Winlock Cemetery, Lewis Co. Photo-ing and adding memorials as needed. I'm so slow as I only can do 100 graves at a time...so much flat-stone sweeping. Bending over for an hour is such fun.

What wonderful work you are doing! That is an immense amount of work. will be helpful for so many folks doing research.

Something I've wondered about our cemetery is if any locals would be upset by me photographing graves - have you run into this where you are at all?

I haven't had any trouble - yet. I stay far away from any funerals going on in the cemetery, just to keep my potential distraction to a minimum.

The caretaker knows me and is helpful if I have a question. It's always good to make friends with those in charge of the grounds.
