Hello,

What is the cost of info by mail?

I am seeking info of an individual from Wyandotte County, Kansas.

And also, does the County CLerks office keep records of people who worked at a Rail Yards and an Oil Companies in that area?

Greetings bungabeast and welcome smile

What are you meaning by 'cost of info' ? Are you trying to find out how to contact a Wyandotte Co records office and what they charge for info?

Or are you asking if we charge for info?

If you can explain a little more we could answer better.

Again, welcome smile

Not likly unless the county has your home listed, Social Security lists names and deathes, but even that is questionable, as SS has not been around that long, also Rail Roads for yrs listed their own, as the employees were not even established for pay any other sources. Depending on States and areas, listings of a Death Certificute is published by the Individual State and my understanding, many didn't keep the records before 1900. They all do charge an individual fee. Hope this helps, never has helped me--they have all been wrong when get them (NO JOKE)But it is worth a try and you might get lucky. In KS contact Topeka for Information of contact.

People who worked at rail yards and for oil companies were employed by private companies. The county clerk wouldn't have employment history on them, just like your county clerk doesn't have your employment history (unless, maybe, you worked for the county).
