Am trying to find out if a William Trebilcock died in Peru between 1865 and 1874. He was a Cornish engineer and I believe he may have travelled to Peru to work in one of the mines. His daughter Nina was born in Lima, Peru in 1870.
I'd be grateful for any help!
Many thanks in advance.

I am also trying to trace the whereabouts of his grave.

He reportedly died of yellow fever between March 1870 (Nina was born 10/11/70) and end 1871.

I have managed to trace some detail:

He died 27 May 1872 of dysentery and is buried in Bellavista British Cemetery, Callao, Peru.

Plot: 1-K-3

He was my great great grandfather - what is your family connection?

I sent a msg to info(at)findagrave.com to add the city of Callao - then you can add the cemetery and make a memorial.

I am SO sorry it's taken so long to reply to you. I haven't accessed this website for well over a year as you can see!
I was researching my 1st cousin's husband's family but came to a dead end and I therefore gave up the search. William Trebilcock (born 1838 in Redruth, Cornwall) was my cousin-in-law's great-grandfather; his daughter, Nina, married John Mollet (his grandparents). They had a son, John, who married Ann Rees and they had 4 children: John, Diane, Keith (my cousin-in-law) and Jean.
I am so grateful to you for letting me have this information - it's wonderful to tie up the loose ends!
Where do you fit in?! It would probably be easier to email me at cjllewellyn(at)hotmail.com!
Regards
Carolyn

I forgot to ask ..... when you mentioned Nina's birth date, was it 10th November 1870 (US format) or 11th October 1870 (UK format)?!
